Reason for us, in addition to our well-known and successful NBA and NHL trips, to now also offer a trip to NFL games in the USA for the very first time. With Niko Backspin and Florian Kaiser we could win two insiders of the NFL scene in Germany, with whom you will go on this trip to Los Angeles and Phoenix. Within this one-week trip from December 07 – 14, 2022 you will experience home games of the LA Rams against the Raiders and the LA Chargers against the Dolphins, before we travel to Phoenix, where the Arizona Cardinals meet the New England Patriots. Our trip includes flights, hotels, tickets to the games and all local transfers. Niko Backspin and Florian Kaiser will accompany you on this journey in a competent and informative way.

Planned itinerary

Wednesday, 07.12.2022

Individual arrival at Frankfurt Airport. We will be happy to assist you in booking a train ride or a feeder flight.

10:45am: Departure with American Airlines flight AA 71 to Dallas (flight time approx. 11 hours, time difference – 7 hours). After entering the USA, onward flight at 5:29pm with AA 969 to Los Angeles (flight time approx. 3.5 hours, time difference – 2 hours). Arrival in Los Angeles at 6:55pm. After luggage pickup transfer to the hotel in Downtown LA.

Thursday, 08.12.2022

Day at leisure.

In the afternoon transfer by bus from the hotel to Sofi Stadium, site of the last Super Bowl.

5:15pm: Kick off LA Rams – Las Vegas Raiders

Afterwards return to the hotel.

 

Friday, 09.12.2022 & Saturday, 10.12.2022

Days at leisure.

Use the days for excursions, e.g., to the famous beaches in Malibu, Venice or Santa Monica. Experience glitz and glamour in Hollywood or experience spectacular views of the city from Griffith Park with the associated Observatory. A visit to Universal Studios or Beverly Hills is also recommended. You can get around LA by public transportation, but it is more comfortable with a rental car. We are happy to assist you with booking a rental car!

If there are games of the LA Lakers, the LA Clippers in the NBA or the LA Kings as well as the Anaheim Ducks in the NHL during your stay in LA, we are happy to help you with the purchase of tickets for these games. The Crypto Arena, the home of the Lakers, Clippers and Kings is within walking distance from your hotel in LA.

In the morning transfer to Sofi Stadium.

1:05pm: Kick off LA Chargers – Miami Dolphins

Afterwards return to the hotel.

Monday, 12.12.2022

Early morning transfer from the hotel to LAX airport.

06:15am: Departure with American Airlines flight AA 852 to Phoenix (flight time 1.5 hours, time difference + 1 hour). After arrival and luggage pick up transfer by bus to the hotel.

In the afternoon transfer by bus from the hotel to the University of State Farm Stadium.

6:15pm: Kick off Arizona Cardinals – New England Patriots

Afterwards return to the hotel.

Optional: Day trip to the Grand Canyon

Early morning bus ride to the Grand Canyon (drive approx. 4 hours). Afterwards free time for sightseeing of this unique natural wonder and lunch. In the afternoon return trip to Phoenix.

In the morning transfer from the hotel to Phoenix airport.

09:30am: Departure with American Airlines flight AA 778 to Charlotte (flight time 4 hours, time difference + 2 hours). Arrival in Charlotte at 3:24pm. Onward flight to Frankfurt at 4:45pm with AA 704 (flight time 8,5 hours, time difference + 6 hours).

07:15am: Arrival in Frankfurt and individual journey home. We will be happy to assist you with train bookings or connecting flights.

Booking conditions:

  • a deposit of 30% of the tour price is due at the time of booking, the remaining balance is due 8 weeks prior to departure
  • if the trip is feasible and not canceled by TR Germany, the following individual cancellation conditions apply to the traveler: up to 12 weeks before departure free of charge, after that 100% cancellation fee.

 

ESTA

For entry into the USA an electronic entry permit (ESTA) has to be applied for. Without a valid ESTA it is not possible to enter the USA. If you would like to book the ESTA through TR Germany, please select it as an additional service when booking your trip. Covid-19 conditions

Regulations for entry change frequently with the pandemic situation. Please additionally inform yourself about the current entry regulations on the website of the responsible representation of the USA in Germany.

Fully vaccinated air travelers may enter the USA. There are exceptions to the vaccination requirement in a few cases.

Prior to departure, a current and valid vaccination certificate must be presented to the airline, as well as a negative viral corona test (PCR test or antigen test) electronically or in paper form for all travelers two years of age and older, which must not be older than one day at the time of departure.

Fully vaccinated individuals who have recovered from COVID-19 within 90 days prior to travel must also provide a physician's certificate of full recovery in addition to their positive COVID-19 test, should the submission of a negative viral COVID-19 test not be possible. Conditions of carriage of the respective airlines should be urgently observed.

Detailed advice on entry and stay (including cross-vaccination) is published by the Center of Disease Control - CDC.

A health form must be completed prior to departure for the USA.

If the entry requirements regarding Covid-19 change, we will inform you immediately and adjust the conditions at this point.

 

The minimum number of participants required for the trip to take place has been reached. The trip will take place!

Note on tickets:

In all NFL arenas there are now only electronic tickets. Paper tickets (mail order or printout at home) are no longer available! The tickets to the games you get are e-tickets to download to your cell phone. We would like to point out that you must have a smartphone (iphone or Android) available to attend the games. The respective NFL Club apps must then be loaded onto it. The tickets will then be visible in these apps. You will then receive detailed instructions on how to download the tickets before the trip. It is also possible to carry several tickets, e.g. from fellow travelers, on one cell phone. Tickets can then also be loaded offline (without Internet access in the USA) into Apple Wallet (for iPhones) or Google pay (for Android).
