How it all began …
The birth of TR Germany GmbH
In 2008 our founder felt it was time for him to apply his professional expertise to his other passion, sports.
He wanted to become a reliable, competent partner for the pro sports industry and what’s more, to start organising trips to the kinds of international sporting events he himself had enjoyed travelling to for years.
What was initially just an idea gradually grew into the TR Germany brand, which today is a subsidiary of TR International GmbH in Zurich. The parent company is in the hands of private shareholders, so we at TR Germany are proud to be entirely independent of corporate or any other third-party interests.

Facts and figures
2008: The concept – travel consulting for the pro sports industry – is born
2010: Event travel is added to TR Germany’s portfolio
2018: The TR brand is sold to current parent company; the international office is established in Zurich
2019: Live entertainment and ticketing are added to TR’s range of services; the office relocates to Frankfurt/Main
2020: Sponsorship is added to the line-up
