The 37th European Athletics Indoor Championships will be held in the Turkish city of Istanbul in 2023 at the Ataköy Athletics Arena. It is the first time that a European Championship will be held in Turkey and the second major athletics event in Istanbul after the World Indoor Championships in 2012.

Our trip combines travel from Germany with scheduled Lufthansa flights, the Hampton by Hilton located close to the Ataköy Arena and local airport transfers, so you don't have to worry about anything during the trip. A city tour of Istanbul will also bring you closer to the most beautiful sights.

Wednesday, 01 March 2023
Individual arrival by flight, train or car to Frankfurt. We will be happy to book you a connecting flight to Frankfurt or a Rail & Fly ticket (see additional services).
1:00 pm: Departure with LH 1298 to Istanbul.
06:05 pm: Landing in Istanbul. After immigration and baggage claim, you will be met by a local tour guide and transfer by bus to the Hampton By Hilton İstanbul Ataköy Hotel. After check-in, the evening is at leisure.
Thursday, 02 March to Sunday, 05 March 2023
Breakfast at the hotel.
Ataköy Arena is only 900 meters away from the hotel. You can easily walk the distance in about 10 minutes.
Depending on the schedule of the competitions, a guided German-speaking city tour of Istanbul is planned between the morning and afternoon sessions. We will inform you about the exact date and time with the travel documents after booking.

Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out until 12 noon. You are welcome to leave your luggage at the hotel.
4:00 pm: your local tour guide will pick you up at the hotel and you will go to Istanbul airport by bus
6:55 pm: Flight with Lufthansa LH 1299 to Frankfurt.
20:15 pm: arrival in Frankfurt.
Individual onward journey by train, connecting flight or by car. We will gladly book a connecting flight from Frankfurt to your destination or a Rail & Fly ticket (see additional services).
